If you think the bumpy, one-eyed monster  Muno a bit suggestive and bizarre, you are not alone. However, I could care less what he looks like, you know? Jake loves Yo Gabba Gabba, and I’m okay with that. I’d rather he watch this show than an annoying purple dinosaur, really. No offense to Barney fans out there.

Yesterday, he was pretty excited with this ugly green monster we found on the internet. He spent a lot of time coloring it and planned on giving it to A as a surprise. A was of course very happy to see it on the fridge when he came home. He wanted to bring it work today. Jake said he can’t. “Because everyone at work might get scared”  LOL.

I was not surprised when he asked that our Jack-O-Lantern be a one-eyed monster/pumpkin. He helped A carve our pumpkin last night, just in time for halloween. He watched closely as A cuts the top off, and they both scraped out the insides, seeds and all.

The best part was turning the lights off, taking a photo of our lit Jack-O-Lantern, and hearing Jake talk to his new one-eyed monster friend as they go to their halloween party. Four is such a fun age. Imagination at its best!
